How do I become a member in the Florida Advisory Committee on Arson Prevention? (FACAP)
Arson has been one of the most neglected crimes in the United States. Its outbreak is now at epidemic proportions. In the last decade, arson has increased by almost 400%. However, the conviction rate for arsonists remains very low on a national basis.
You can join in the war against arson. Any civic group or individual with a recognized interest in stopping arson is eligible to join FACAP. If you are interested, we will show you how to form a neighborhood arson watch program for the mutual protection of yourself and your neighbors, provide you with current and quality training on arson detection and legal issues, in addition to FACAP’s ARSON REWARD PROGRAM.
